Trick or Trunk on Halloween

Happy Halloween!  Children are welcome to Trick-or-Treat on Don Tyler Ave. Halloween night from 6-8 pm.  Merchants, civic groups, churches, and others will be on hand to pass out candy to all the little ghosts and goblins on Halloween, until time or the candy runs out.  This is a fun event, which is sponsored every year by the Dewey Police Department.  Questions?  Call Joyce at 534-2223 or Cassie at City Hall 534-2272.

Spaces are available along Don Tyler and the 800 block of N. Shawnee on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you or your group would like to participate, you may set up along Don Tyler and pass out candy from your vehicle, or set up a table.  Plan to pass out a couple thousand pieces of candy or other child-appropriate items.  When buying candy, keep in mind that many of the trick-or-treaters are infants (with parents) and should eat soft things or other appropriate snacks.

Thanks to every participant for helping make Dewey THE place to be on Halloween!
