Dewey will hold its annual night parade on Saturday, December 10, 2011 - the theme will be announced in November. The parade starts at 6 pm. Entry is FREE! Categories for judging include Youth, Religious, Commercial, and Non-Commercial. Trophies are awarded to the top two placings in each category. Entry forms are available at Arvest Bank, at City Hall, or will be mailed to previous participants - please turn in entry forms at City Hall or Dewey Arvest by December 6. Download an entry form here. If you need the form faxed, call Craig at 337-3379 or Cassie at 534-2272. All entries welcome!!! Horses in the parade must have a negative Coggins report to show.
Just before the parade at 4:15 pm, a short "Santa Dash" will be held. This is about a one- to two-block race where entrants MUST wear a Santa Hat (elf hats for kids; hats can be provided!!). For more information on this, contact Shelli Goolsbey (Jerrico Tile & Carpet) 534-2422. This is a just-for-fun event, but there will be prizes awarded to the race winners. Pre-register today, or register at 4 pm on the 11th by the post office.
Santa himself will be available for photos before the parade. He will be on the porch of the Dewey Hotel Museum from 5 pm to 6 pm, passing out bags of candy and listening to your Christmas wish list!

Before and during the parade, the Tom Mix Museum will be open and selling chili and hot chocolate (probably coffee, too!) as a fundraiser. Please stop by and support the Tom Mix Museum!
