The mayor has declared May as Flood Awareness Month, and Flood Insurance Month. 
Dewey cumulative sales tax has gone from 8% to 8.5% due to the people approving the half-cent for the building of a new county jail.  The new tax went into effect 10/1/09. This change makes the total sales tax for Dewey 8.5%.  The tax is broken down as follows: 4.5% State of Oklahoma, 1.0%...
