To begin water service, come in to City Hall and fill out a contract. The deposit is $75 for your water/sewer/trash, paid at the time the contract is filled out. Your deposit is refunded to your account after 2 years of penalty-free service or if you move out of the city.
Base rate for water service inside the city limits is $12.60. Minimum usage of 2,000 gallons is included in the base charge. Any usage over 2,000 gallons is charged at a rate of $3.68 per 1,000 gallons. Sewer base rate is $7.62, and an additional rate of $2.89 per 1,000 gallons is charged. Base rate for water service outside the city limits but within our service area is $18.90. Minimum usage of 2,000 gallons is included in the base rate. Any usage over 2,000 gallons is charges at a rate of $5.52 per thousand gallons. Sewer base rate is $11.43 plus an additional $4.33 per 1,000 gallons used.
