Can I reserve a shelter in one of the 4 city parks for a party or gathering?

Yes! Call City Hall (534-2272) to check the park calendar and reserve your shelter. There is no charge to reserve a shelter if you are a Dewey resident. There is a per-hour fee for non-residents ($12 for the first 2 hours, and $7 per hour after that). Churches and non-profit organizations can use the shelters at no cost. Don Tyler Park has 4 available shelters. This is the only park with restroom facilities. Lions Park (formerly known as Kiwanis Park) has one shelter. Hix Park has one shelter. Meadow Creek Park has no shelter. All parks, except Meadow Creek, have water and electrical hook-ups.
