This unique structure is one of several buildings and homes in Dewey that are made of concrete from the Dewey Portland Cement Co. The fairgrounds hosts the annual County Fair, as well as auctions, dances, reunions, and more.  On the property, you will see some of the few remaining concrete electrical poles that still exist in Dewey (some others exist on west 9th Street).
